Real Estate Reel

Harsh Kyada, Founder · Reference

A short, vertical video built for Instagram and Meta ads, and the four buyer decisions every real estate reel needs to answer to actually convert.

A real estate reelis a short, vertical video, usually 15 to 60 seconds, built for Instagram and Meta ads, that shows a project the way a buyer actually experiences a space, not the way a brochure describes it. Unlike a static photo carousel or a listing PDF, it can be run directly as a paid ad the same day it's shot.

The four decisions a real estate reel needs to answer

Not every reel does the same job. A launch content plan needs at least one reel answering each of: is this in my budget or area (the awareness reel), does it look like the brochure says (the walkthrough), has anyone actually bought here (the proof reel), and what happens if I call right now (the direct-response reel). See the full framework in how many reels a launch actually needs.

What separates a working reel from filler

The first three seconds carry the whole reel: location, price point, and one visual hook, stated on-screen, not just narrated. It's shot like a person walking through the space, not a real estate agent presenting it. And it's built to run as an ad from the first script draft, not posted and hoped for. See the full breakdown on our real estate reels page.

Real examples

Karv Realty's enquiries went from 41 to 132 a month not from posting more reels, but from rebuilding the reel mix around these four decisions. See more examples in our video portfolio.
